DAY 1. Arrival, Check in at the hotel

YEREVAN – VICTORY PARK – CASCADE COMPLEX – FREEDOM SQUARE – VERNISSAGE MARKET-GENOCIDE MEMORIAL

This day depending on your time of arrival we will have a city tour in Yerevan.

Begin your tour with a visit to Victory Park, a beautiful spot atop a hill overlooking Yerevan. Stroll through the park, enjoy the views of Mount Ararat, and see the iconic Mother Armenia statue. This area commemorates Armenia’s resilience and serves as a historical landmark.

Estimated Time: 1 hour

Head down to the Cascade Complex, a modern landmark and an open-air museum. Walk down the grand staircase, lined with sculptures, contemporary art installations, and beautifully landscaped gardens. Enjoy panoramic views of the city and Mount Ararat from the top.

Freedom Square and Republic Square

Take a short walk to Freedom Square, home to the Yerevan Opera House and a central gathering spot. Learn about Armenia’s modern history and see the cultural heart of Yerevan, often filled with locals and artists. After walk to the Republic square to explore the heart of Yerevan.

Vernissage Flea market for souvenirs. Here comes the shopping time and we will have lunch at a traditional Armenian restaurant.

Take a break to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

15:00 PM – Genocide Memorial and Museum

Have a visit to Genocide memorial and museum. Learn about the history of Armenian genocide,World War I, and finalize with the visit to the Memorial.

16:30 PM – Drive back to hotel to take a rest and enjoy your evening.

DAY 2

ARARAT VELLEY – ARENI CAVES – NORAVANK MONASTERY – KHOR VIRAP MONASTERY

9:00 AM - Departure from Yerevan

Begin your journey with a drive through the scenic Ararat Valley, home to Armenia’s fertile farmlands and vineyards, with breathtaking views of Mount Ararat.

10:00 AM -Drive to Khor Virap Monastery

Continue to Khor Virap Monastery, one of the most iconic sites in Armenia, offering a stunning view of Mount Ararat. Learn about its role in Armenian Christian history and explore the deep pit where Saint Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned.

12:20 AM - Visit Areni Caves

Arrive at the Areni Cave (Birds’ Cave), a significant archaeological site where the world’s oldest known winery and 6100-year-old artifacts were discovered. Explore the cave with your guide to uncover its ancient history and its role in winemaking traditions.

13:00 AM – Lunch in Areni Village

Enjoy a traditional Armenian lunch at a local restaurant or guesthouse in Areni. Pair your meal with the flavors of homemade wine and Armenian cuisine.

14:30 PM Visit Noravank Monastery

Head to Noravank Monastery, a spectacular 10-14th-century complex set against dramatic red cliffs. Admire its intricate carvings and unique two-story church, as well as the stunning natural surroundings.

18:00 PM - Return to Yerevan

Conclude the tour with a scenic drive back to Yerevan, arriving by approximately 18:00 PM.

19:00 PM Dinner in Yerevan

DAY 3 LAKE SEVAN – DILIJAN NATIONAL PARK- OLD DIJAN COMPLEX-LAKE PARZ-RAINDEER BREEDING CENTER-TSAGHKUNQ RESTAURANT-YEREVAN

9:00 AM - Departure from Yerevan

Start your journey with a drive to the picturesque lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude lakes with fresh water in the world. Stroll along the lake’s shores, take in the tranquil beauty of the scenery and have a half an hour boat trip at Lake Sevan.

12:00 AM visit to Parz lake- a green pearl lost in deep forests. Free time to enjoy fresh air in the forest, feed the ducks, embrace the green views of National Park

13:00 Light lunch in Nature. Free Time

16:00 AM Drive to Reindeer breeding center located at Dilijan National Park. Enjoy feed or just looking after these amazing herd.

17:00 Heading back to Dilijan to Visit old Dilijan quarter and visit local arts and craftsmen’s shops.

18:00 PM Dinner in Dilijan at a local’s place.

Conclude the tour with a relaxing drive back to Yerevan, arriving by approximately 21:00 PM.

DAY 4. GARNI PAGAN TEMPLE- SYMPHONY OF STONES – GEGHARD MONASTERY-AZAT WATER-RESERVOIR

9:00 AM - Departure from Yerevan

Start your journey with a comfortable drive to the Kotayk region to visit one of Armenia’s most iconic landmarks.

10:00 AM - Visit Garni Pagan Temple

Arrive at the Garni Temple, the only surviving Greco-Roman-style temple in the region, built in the 1st century AD. This magnificent structure, dedicated to the sun god Mithra, is perched on a cliff overlooking the Azat River Gorge. Explore the temple grounds, admire the stunning views, and learn about its historical and cultural significance.

11.00 PM - Visit Geghard Monastery

Continue to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its partially rock-hewn architecture and spiritual atmosphere. Dating back to the 4th century, the monastery is surrounded by towering cliffs and steeped in legends. Explore the complex, including its chapels, carvings, and sacred springs.

12:30 –Have an authentic lunch and lavash baking master class at the local village restaurant.

14:00 AM - Visit the Symphony of Stones

A short drive or walk down into the gorge takes you to the Symphony of Stones, a natural wonder featuring towering basalt column formations resembling an organ or symphony pipes. Marvel at this geological phenomenon and its dramatic setting along the river.

Scenic drive back to Yerevan with a stop at Azat water reservoir.

DAY 5. SHOPPING TIME-TRANSFER

Depending on your timeof departure we will visit Vernisagge Flea Market to buy local pieces of handmade souvenirs. Then head to Gum market for local spices, dried and fresh fruits.

Have a short free time for snacks and head to the airport.
